Hi, how can I connect QlikSense(Desktop free version) to MS Dynamics CRM (online version). I have the REST API web link provided by Microsoft. Is there anything else required to connect?

Hi,

The Qlik Web Connectors has a connector to MS Dynamics 365 CRM. It's a standalone product and you can get it from the Qlik download site.

As you'll need a trial LEF to enable this connector., I suggest that you contact your local Qlik office or partner to ask for this.

Hi Darren,

I know its a quite old discussion but I am looking to connect Qliksense to Microsoft Dynamics. I can see now a connector called Microsoft Dynamics CRM V2 available in Qlik Cloud/Business environment. Could you please help me to understand if I can directly connect my qlik business environment to MS Dynamics using this connector? Do I need to learn XML for the same? Also how can I connect my desktop version to MS dynamics if required?

In response to your questions:

Yes, you can use the Microsoft Dynamics CRM V2 to connect to your MS Dynamics 365.
You would need to learn FetchXML https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/power-apps/developer/data-platform/use-fetchxml-construct-query
In order to use the connector with Qlik sense desktop you would need to install the standalone package (License is no longer required). https://help.qlik.com/en-US/connectors/Subsystems/Web_Connectors_help/Content/Connectors_QWC/Install/Installing_home.htm
