Web Connectors being built into Qlik Sense Enterprise?

Hi,

I've noticed that some web-connectors are now built in and in BETA stage for Cloud (Business Subscription).

Any word or idea when there will be built-in web connectors for Qlik Sense Enterprise?

Hi Ali,

I can't see that QWC is likely to get integrated with Sense Enterprise. It's a natural move to put this onto the Connections tab in Cloud For Business, as users are not able to install their own connectors / drivers.

I'm not sure which connectors are in QSC4B, but there are a number of connectors that are available for free in Qlik Web Connectors. You can just download and use these with Enterprise right now.

I know that on one of the slides I remember it saying "Seamless integration of Qlik Web Connectors into Qlik Sense" so that is why I am wondering.

I can imagine that they will fix the problem that you have to change your Sense server into 'Legacy' mode to make QWC work (eventually), and it may appear on the Connection button in Sense. I can't see it being fully inclusive though - because of the licencing of some of the connectors.

These are all just guesses though.
