Hi All

Anybody have any experience in connecting Qlikview to a data virtualisation platform, i.e. Denodo? I'm trying via odbc and jdbc but not having any luck.

Thanks

Denodo offers regular ODBC drivers and QlikView is tuned very well for using ODBC. So could you tell us where it stops for you? Do you get any error messages? Have you downloaded Denodo ODBC driver from their website and installed it?

Hi Petter

Many thanks for your reply - I managed to configure the ODBC connector so it does connect successfully (or without errors anyway) but it does not return any tables for me to be able to select the fields from. I have connected to the Denodo source from Excel and been able to pull the info without issue, so I am just wondering what am I missing when it comes to the Denodo connection. I downloaded the ODBC driver from the Denodo site as well.

Initially I had issues w/ Denodo ODBC, but after reviewing the doc on denodo's site I was able to resolve. Are you getting an error when using:

'ODBC CONNECT TO ?Datasource?'

Load * ;

SQL SELECT

column1, column2

from ?Datasource?.table/view;

Check out the documentation here: Knowledge Base | Denodo
