Qlik Sense Cloud - Rest Connector - error 403

Hi,

Trying to connect to a cloud inventory management software - Dear Systems, with the REST connector in Cloud Sense.

I'm getting a 403 Connection Error (Forbidden).

Dear support have come back to me saying:
"As far as our back end team is concerned, this tool doesn't allow to supply custom headers in API request required for authentication in API. "

Any ideas?

This is an older post, but according to DEAR documentation, it requires headers in the API request to authenticate, the Account ID and API Application key. These could be tried in the Query Headers section of the REST connection configuration:

The values that need to be sent as HTTP headers are api-auth-accountid and api-auth-applicationkey. This isn't confirmed to work with the generic REST connector, and additional help from DEAR Support may be needed.
