topic BMC Remedyforce and Salesforce Connector in Connectivity & Data Prep

Has anyone connected to BMC Remedyforce using the Salesforce connector? Is that possible? I've made several attempts with no success. Should this be straightforward? I'm told by my Salesforce admins that my username and password should be authorized to connect. Ideally I could use Bulk API.

Using only my BMC credentials and security token, I am given an invalid login error.

Attempting the SOAP API connection using these credentials and https://login.salesforce.com/services/soal/u/29.0, I still receive an invalid login error.

The issue was that we use SSO and I had to log in with the Salesforce credentials I was never aware of. Once this was sorted out, the Salesforce connector did the trick.
