O365 SharePoint Connector not decoding columns correctly

When using the O365 Connector to pull List Items By ID, I find that not all columns come back decoded to a value i can understand. Some columns come back just like they look when I look in SharePoint. But others come back with a value that looks like "Web/Lists(guid'03c0ba4b-c630-4a0f-96b2-0278a8be070b')/Items(15)/RoleAssignments" and some come back with a number such as "25".

I am assuming this is because of the way the different columns are defined in SharePoint. If so is there a way to tell the Connector to look else where based on this guid? Or to somehow decode it?

Hi,

I think your assumption is correct about this being due to the way the columns are defined in sharepoint. The connector simply converts the OData returned by sharepoint into a table structure.

Unfortunately there is not a way at present of telling the connector to take any additional steps to lookup friendlier column names or decode them differently.

can Qlik Support chime in on this.... does the Office 365 Sharepoint connector resolve the lookup columns to show the NAMES instead of the IDs or not?

@Ken_T No the connector does not perform any additional looking of these IDs to resolve them to Names.
