Hi
Thanks for your answer
But I did already try to connect, without success!

I don't know how to give the right path to the server?

I am using the server address and the VPN address after the connexion with VPN such as:

For example: 90.85.135.90 : 1433 / 192.0.1.29

What is wrong?

The port 1433 must be open on the server machine and in my firewall ?

Thanks

Jacques Neyret

Hi there,

It is not possible to use a VPN to connect from QSB to an on-premise database. You can't install any VPN client on QSB side.

You basically have 2 options to access your on-prem SQL Server database from QSB:

1. Use this article https://support.qlik.com/articles/000037796 to whitelist QSB IP addresses and publicly open ports of your on-prem database for these IP addresses.

2. Use a CDC tool, like Qlik Replicate, to replicate your on-prem database in the cloud in real time, and connect to this cloud database using QSB.

Best regards,

Thiebaud
