Dear all,

is it possible to manage access to apps and stream from an external database ?

I can't manage to find a satisfying solution (i search on UDC side or using section access but both solution raise several problem)

Hi,

No matter which kind of user there is external or internal, if external users are auth fine and authroized to App yes he or she can access the Qlik App.

Can I know what is the way of your AUTHENTICATION ?

Sorry, I wasn't clear enough,
all users are from the same UDC
Customer has an external database which manage access right to apps and he wants to use it within security rules

UDC only brings meta data information of users, its not for authenticating any uses.

Secondly, external database manager access right? how do any database manage any access ? if users info store in any database it doesn't mean the same database can auth any user.

Auth ways which Qlik supports are like windows auth,SAML, ticketing , JWT.
