Qliksense services error when localhost is used

On opening Qliksense qmc through servername (ex. https://ABC/qmc) all services are running fine but on opening QMC through url i.e https:/localhost/qmc, proxy,scheduler and printing services stop running. Would like to know the reason behind this.Kindly assist.

What exactly do you mean when you say that the services stop running? Are you talking about the Qlik Sense services you see when you open the services.msc application on the server?

Check the hosts file under the following folder:

windows\system32\drivers\etc

Make sure this entry is not commented out there:

127.0.0.1 localhost
