does anyone have experience with multi-regional deployment? i have a multi-node QSE deployed in a datacenter in Raleigh NC, but my EMEA users experience lag. is the fix as simple as adding a node to the cluster but deploying the new node to a datacenter in EMEA?

Hello,

I would say this solution is not recommended mostly due to the network latency between the nodes. The Qlik Sense nodes require frequent communications and a high latency could cause a number of timeout and unexpected behavior.

I have seen many customers solving this challenge by running separate Qlik Sense environment in each regions using public cloud provider such as Amazon, Azure, Google, ...

Hope this helps!

Thanks Bastien for your suggestion.

When you say separate qlik sense environment, do you mean to host North America qliksense in NA Cloud vendor and EU region Qliksense in EU cloud vendor?

Hello,

Yes this is what I meant.

Sorry I should have mentioned that our SaaS offering is probably the most adequate solution if your users needs to work on the same set of applications.

How Saas would work in multi region sort of requirement? Can you please provide me some more in-depth details?

Right now we use multiple environments, one in EU and another one in NA on premise. I would like to combine into single environment so NA and EU developers / consumers can hit an single hub / qmc.

Please let me know. Thanks
