QS Apr 2002 - Sluggish performance (HDD I believe..)

Hello Folks,

I have an Apr 2020 QS system that runs in a cluster (1 central, 2 Rim nodes for reloading). My users have been complaining about sluggishness of the system. When I run Resource Monitor, I see that the HD latency is through the roof (250+ms for quite a few files).

My idea is to move the QS share data to another server as mentioned here-> https://support.qlik.com/articles/000045909?_ga=2.1311537.1609646005.1603116463-2137608326.1578346955. to a server with an SSD.

My questions are

1. Why logs from August and September being touched? I assume its for the Monitoring Apps dashboard.

2. Is my plan reasonable given what I assume is the cause of the sluggishness of the system

Any help is greatly appreciated.
