Governed Metrics - master items missing when app is duplicated or migrated

Very newbie question I'm sure but haven't been able to find answer for this...

I've deployed Governed Metrics successfully and used to develop an application in my DEV environment which is published to a stream. Upon duplicating or migrating app (move to another site), many of the master items do not show resulting in broken visualizations.

Do I have to apply GMS metrics to new app?

Hi Ben,

You would indeed subscribe this new app to your metrics. The goal then being you have your governed metrics driving all your apps.

Hi Jesse, thanks for the response. I should have been more clear. I had applied the metrics to the app via the test page functionality which worked fine until I duplicated or published the app. The duplicated / published app only has a very small subset of the master items that show which results in broken vizes...

Hope that is clearer.
