Using Active Directory Group in section access file

SO...

I am using an excel with the following columns

ACCESS, USERID, GROUP

I have success allow or denying users into an app by using ACCESS and USERID, but No luck using GROUP with Active Directory Group

I have tried using just the AD Group name and the comma delimited LDAP string.

Where is clear documentation with examples?

I originally thought that the AD Groups could be defined and used for an app from the security level...any clear documentation with examples would be helpful.

I did not pay attention but I duplicated my question.

I am looking fro first hand experience and answers around this topic...no link or article seems to answer the basic question

Hi,

I have the same issue. Individual user access works fine. But giving access to AD group fails.

Please share me any working results.
