As others have pointed out, the license is quite dated. Support and maintenance was ended in 2014 (2014-12-30 to be exactly). This will likely entail needing to install an older version of QlikView Desktop in order to successfully apply the license. Qlik Products check the maintenance date on the license and will not permit installing newer software than a customer's maintenance period. This makes sense, right? You've paid for software, you get software.

For your case, the latest version of QlikView which was released before December 30th 2014 is QlikView 11.20 SR9 (released in November 2014). I'll ping you the direct link for the download since it's unlikely that you have access to the downloads portal for older versions.

Cheers

We had an old Windows XP computer with QlikView that was deployed in about 2014, but it recently died. We've prepared a new Windows 10 computer, but we don't know specifically what QlikView product was installed before and what should now be installed. We have a .txt file with some license information, but don't know if that license can be migrated to the new computer.

The license information we have is only a couple of numbers : ***** and *****.

QlikView doesn't seem to have technical support in the classic sense, so posting on this board seems to be my only option.

Thank you.
