topic Sessions and external load balancer in Management & Governance

Hi all,

I'm in the process of setting up a new architecture, where session traffic will go through an external load balancer and the session creation/authentication is happening on an external service.

So our question is:

For a multi-node is it possible to:

1.Is there support for centralized user session persistence?

2.Is there a way to run load balancer with sticky sessions disabled?

Hello @nfederico360insights

This article presents the requirements for a NLB to work with Qlik Sense.

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Knowledge/Network-Load-Balancer-NLB-Requirements-for-Qlik-Sense-Enterprise/ta-p/1715665

QS will need the user session to be routed and maintained consistently to the same QPS, so you will need to have enabled sticky sessions.

Also the session duration will need to be set with the same value in the NLB and Qlik Sense.

Best regards
