Error: QVX_BROKEN_CONNECTION

Hi everyone,

recently I've been randomly getting the following error from a task:

Error: Connector reply error: Error creating QvxReply from an XML string: Requested value 'QVX_BROKEN_CONNECTION' was not found.

So far, every time it happened, it was enough to restart task and then it would go in success.

I couldn't find any documentation on this error, so I'm quite lost. Does anyone can provide me any insights on how this error arises and most of all how to prevent it?

What type of data source is being loaded when this error occurs?

Hi Rob,

we are loading data from a Redshift database, using the default connector.

I would recommend opening a ticket with Qlik Support on this one.

Were you able to resolve this?

I am getting the same error when connecting to Redshift. Each time problem is resolved by running the job later.
