Qlik Sense Trigger based on QlikView Task Completion

Hello,

Last time I checked this was a few years ago, but I remember there not being an effective way to trigger a Qlik Sense task off the completion of a QlikView task.

It's now 2022, and I am wondering if there are any effective methods to start a Qlik Sense task based on the completion of a QlikView one. We have tasks running in Qlik Sense that are very dependent on QlikView tasks completing successfully and we just have schedules based on when it's probably going to finish which is not efficient.

Note that we are running Enterprise versions if that matters.

You can have your QlikView Publisher trigger QlikSense task.

How so? I don't see a Qlik Sense trigger anywhere within the task triggers.

Unless this is an option in a later release of QlikView.

Have a look at the solution posted here. These can work. And then you can have your qlikview external program task dependent on other qlikview tasks.
