    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hey Mark,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt; Why not have them both expire at the same time ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Since Qlik Sense Desktop is a free product, the decision was made to have hard-coded expiration dates which may not align with the supportability of the same server version.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There's chatter of extending expiration periods in Qlik Sense Desktop, so stay abreast of the help docs / release notes for future versions.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope that helps.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;For Desktop, Qlik used to give frequent updates, to go with new versions, clear previous bugs and add updates on it, Qlik assigning time period. Finally this is free.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But server, not free. So qlik giving a better time period of validity. If not, nobody interest on the products.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
