Jun 2017 desktop expired Aug 2018 but the server end-of-life is 2019 ???

Why not have them both expire at the same time ?

Since Qlik Sense Desktop is a free product, the decision was made to have hard-coded expiration dates which may not align with the supportability of the same server version.

There's chatter of extending expiration periods in Qlik Sense Desktop, so stay abreast of the help docs / release notes for future versions.

For Desktop, Qlik used to give frequent updates, to go with new versions, clear previous bugs and add updates on it, Qlik assigning time period. Finally this is free.

But server, not free. So qlik giving a better time period of validity. If not, nobody interest on the products.
