Qliksense SaaS DataLoad editor Entitlement Question

Hi,

Have a question on SaaS enterprise.

In SaaS I have an space and I have all the following Role selected for my account

And I have all the following roles in Admin

Now the issue is, if some one else imported an app from qliksense enterprise, I don't have the permission to edit the dataload editor in SaaS. However if I import the same app then I have the permission to edit the dataload editor.

In SaaS how do I gain access to dataload editor for an app in the space if some one else imported the app?

Hi @jpjust,

In Qlik SaaS, only the app owner will have the access to data load editor. If the other user imports the app to SaaS, the other users will be the owner and you won't have access to data load editor, this is expected. The other user needs to change the owner over to you and then only you can access the data load editor.

So only one person can work on a app? If I want other developer to work on the same app, I have to change the app owner every time?

Hi @jpjust,

Unfortunately yes, only one user can access the data load editor and that is the owner of the app. That is working as designed at this time.

You will need to change the app owner if another developer needs to change the script.
