Reload an app via QMC

In our Qlik environment we have a strange situation around reloading dashboards. We can give a Windows AD user without a license rights to perform a reload. As soon as this user receives an analyzer license, the reloading is no longer possible. Reloading is only possible without a license or with a professional license. Is this a bug in the QMC, or a conscious limitation?

Is this Qlik Sense cloud?

You need professional access to Update, upload or modify data.

No, it is Qlik Sense Enterprise. But the issue here is that a user without any license have more rights than an Analyzer user.

A user without any license can start reload tasks using the QMC.

I found that this have been brought up before, but there are currently no plans to change it. If the root user has a license it needs to be a professional license.

I recommend that you add this as a product improvement idea here
