Hi All,

I am aware that the default user session timout for Qlik Sense SaaS is 20 minutes and that this currently cannot be adjusted.

This is of course not ideaal if you want to use Qlik Sense SaaS for monitoring purposes (constant reloads and usage of your dashboard).

I was wondering if anyone has considered using the Monitor in Hub functionality for this or is there aswell a session timout on this functionality? Anyone using other workarounds for this?

Thanks for posting.

We would like to understand better your scenario.

Why is the current timeout and issue for constant reloads and usage of your dashboards?

Could you kindly add more context, so we can have a better understanding.

Cheers,

The only thing I was wondering if is building a web app could work for such use case:
Build a simple web app | Qlik Developer Portal

As per the session timeout cannot be adjusted on Qlik Cloud.

Cheers,

HI @Albert_Candelario ,

I am not sure about a simple web app, as that would require the user to login again from time to time. Is there no way to automatically login when the session breaks and create a new session? Maybe via M2M authentication?
