Thanks for the update.

To confirm, there is no automatic switchover of the Central node from Failover node. Is this correct?

Thanks,
Aadil

Hi All,

I have a two node cluster with standalone postgres DB. Running QSEoW with Qlik Sense Feb 2022 P9.

Server A - Central Node

Server B - Failover Node

When ServerA goes down, ServerB becomes the Central Node. This is happening properly as per configuration.

However, Once the ServerA is back online. The CentralNode does not switch back to ServerA. Have monitored this for more than a week and ServerB continues to show up as CentralNode.

Don't see any info on Logs as well.

Does anyone have info on when the switch back to ServerA is supposed to happen.

Thanks,
Aadil

Hi @aadil_madarveet,

This is working as designed. If you would like to revert back to the original master, you can perform a manual failover. Refer to Qlik Knowledgebase article Manually Failover the Central Node and the Qlik Sense Online Help entry Manually migrating the Central Node.

Best Regards

Yes. The previous central node becomes failover now when it is up back. To make it central once again, the now-central node has to fail; which you can force.
