I request to create a Qlik service account, but client IT ask me back this question

Dear master!!

recently i have a project to do with client with strict IT policy i think. i have requested to create a Qlik Service Account. in the end, the IT asked me this :

State the impact if there is a breach to this id in term of confidentiality, integrity and availability .

What is your countermeasure if anything went wrong while using the id?

i really do not have a solid answer for the above. please help!!

Hi,

Support service account are usually provided by the Qlik account manager. Please contact your Qlik account manager to get this account and if you have any specific question/issue related to Qlik product please open a support case with the details of the question.

no ... i mean Qlik Sense Service Account. the service accoutn that we asked IT or AD team to create the service account to run those qlik services.

So, now IT is questioning me back:

Hi @jim_chan ,

The need for a service account here is to have a Dedicated Account with Administrator privillage which would run the Qlik Services. This Account can be used in all the API calls and service communication. The IT Team can place any restrictions apart from the following requirements : Qlik Sense Service Account requirements and how to... - Qlik Community - 1713073

Service account is a recomendation from Qlik. A non Admin account can also be used : User accounts | Qlik Sense for administrators Help
