Indeed, there is an option in QlikView that if the user has no access to the application such will not be even listed on the Access Point for the user, regardless of the entitlement that the user has. Below the setting:

Cheers,

I am using qvadmin account which is the highest privilege account.

I'm sure the mounted folder is correct and is browseable. The server is using NTFS authorization.

Some .qvw can show on access point. The other .qvw which not show on access point is created by other users (not admin) and they have set the session access.

1. May I know why I cannot see the .qvw?

2. and do the .qvw owners have right to not allow admin see the application even though the admin have the highest privilege.

Thanks.

There are three .qvw inside the folders.

qlikApp/finx/finx.qvw

qlikApp/1_Fiinx/1_Fiinx.qvw

qlikApp/2_Prox/2_Prox.qvw

But in access point, I only see the finx.qvw.

My expected result is all .qvw can be see in access point.

I place the file "1_Fiinx.qvw" in folder "/finx" , it also not show in access point

Thank you.

Ah, if you are not using SECTION ACCESS, then the problem is in the QMC.

If you have a professional user you should normally see everything, but perhaps in the DOCUMENTS part you have access through QVW and there you should add the user.

Section access couldn't only be used to restrict the data-access horizontally and vertically else to control the visibility of sheets and objects as well as the visibility within the access point. If this feature is enabled within the document settings in tab server in the bottom right area you would need to be listed within as user the section access. IMO it's a sensible feature to not displaying applications to which an user has no access.
