Hi!
We found a lot of errors in our repository service log

<LI-SPOILER>System.Repository.Repository.Communication.Clients.EngineClient 131 4b47a3d4-acad-4a8f-8337-34a7e45e6c8a DOMAIN\user API call to Engine service was not successful: Failed to get app 'StaticByteSize'.

We are on Feb 2024 Patch 8 and still getting these errors. I looked through the release notes for the patches and don't see a released fix yet. Is there a planned release for this fix? I would prefer a fix vs turning it off by editing these files on my multi-node environment.

If your system is high loaded I suggest to turn it off.
In our case, disabling it significantly reduced CPU load from repository service process and traffic between the central node and the dedicated repository.
