QlikSense Hub and QMC URL management

Hi Guys,

We are managing a multi node Qlik sense architecture with 1 central , 1 failover and 3 consumer nodes. we have created a separate url's for accessing Qlik Sense Hub(for end users) and Qlik Sense QMC(for Admins).
As QMC and hub can be opened on both central and Rim server, most of the users are wrongly using central url link to access Hub which we do not want.(https://centralserver/hub). We want all the users should use only the Hub link to access their application.(https://consumernodesNetworkLoadbalancer/hub). How can we restrict users to not utilize central server resources?

There might be other ways, but you can change URL by adding a prefix to the virtual proxy from QMC. If users does not use correct link, they will get a 404 error.

Hello Maria,

Problem is hub and qmc is accessible from Both central and Rim server as well.

Maybe I am misunderstanding you, but changing the prefix will change URL to both QMC and HUB. So anyone using the link without the prefix will get a 404 error.
