Can't export certificate to .PFX file

Hi,

According this Backup guide

I should select the option "Personal information exchange" but I can't select it.

Is it necessary to use this option if I want use Qlik sense to be activated on another server (same version) ?
If I choose first option for example (.CER), will it change anything?

Hi,

If you cannot export the certificate in PFX format, it's because the private key is missing. That not normal for a Qlik Sense internal certificate.

Nevertheless, you can recreate certifcate on the new server by start the Repository service with the command Repository.exe -bootstrap -standalone -restorehostname.
It will create new certificates for your environnement.

Caveat: You will loose all the saved password of your data connection during the process since they are encrypted by the certificates.
