Hello everyone,

We are currently using qliksense Nov 2023 enterprise version. Our organization is doing the following patch update for the OS in the server:

1.2024-03 Cumulative Update for Microsoft server operating system version 21H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5037422)

2. 2024-04 Cumulative Update for Microsoft server operating system version 21H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5036909) (CVE-2024-29988) (CVE-2024-26234)

3. 2024-03 Cumulative Update for Microsoft server operating system version 21H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5035857)

4. 2024-02 Cumulative Update for Microsoft server operating system version 21H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034770) (CVE-2024-21351) (CVE-2024-21412)

5. 2024-01 Cumulative Update for Microsoft server operating system version 21H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034129)

6. Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool x64 - Apr 2024 (KB890830)

I want to check if we do the above updates, will it affect the work-flow/working environment of qliksense in any wat possible

Hi @qliksense1thomascook,

We mainly see issues around security settings, TLS/Ciphers and such OS-level configurations.

Generally we do not recommend an in-place OS upgrade but deploying a new machine or the test machine with Windows patches upgrade with the current Qlik build and then move things over for testing.

Do note that take the complete backup before doing any upgradations or changes.

There are no known issues as of now.

You can open a ticket with support once the patching is completed and see any issues.
