Hi Tyler, just wanted to check. I recently tested out an upgrade from 2.1.1. to 3.1.3 and noticed that my license and operation monitor apps also stopped refreshing and do not reflect any data when I open it. Will this solution you have here work with 3.x versions as well?

Thanks

Yes, you can always re-import the apps from the Qlik\Sense\Repository\DefaultApps folder.

If after re-importing you get reload failures -- that's a different issue than app corruption.

Post the script log file if you'd like if you get a reload failure (find it from the QMC -> tasks > click on the for the Reload of Operations Monitor task that failed and click the button to download script file.)

See if the failure relates to the REST connections to the qrs (you'll see "qrs" in there). If so, be sure you have configured things properly per the documentation. http://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense/3.1/Subsystems/Monitoring/Content/Introduction/Monitor-Qlik-Sense-site.htm

Thanks Tyler. You're correct, my issue wasn't an app corruption but a reload failure. Not completely clear on the root cause, but it turns out that is has something to do with the virtual proxy we have in place at our organization. We currently have a form proxy and with the help of support, it was determined that I had to create a second virtual proxy specific to the monitoring apps, then configure the URLs in the REST connections you mentioned to use this new virtual proxy
