Log file not getting archieved

Due to some reason in recent months we are getting alot of error entries in C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Log\AppDistributionService\Trace which increased the size and count of the log file and also these log files are not getting archieved to our D drive causing storage issues in C drive.

what is causing this error and why is it the log is not getting archived ?
