External facing customer reports

Hello Qlikers!

We have a new requirement and are hoping to start work on a POC. The basic requirements are as follows:

1. Customer Qlik Cloud report that is accessible externally by our customers

2. Adding section access to this app to ensure customers do not see other customer data.

Apologies for the vague question, but does anybody have any ideas on if this is possible and how to go about it?

Any response is appreciated and if anyone is currently doing this I would love to hear more!

Then for external users, you cannot apply Section Access, you'll need to filer to each customer in order to enable them only their data.

Thanks for replying!

This sounds like a good idea. My only concern is we have many customers so would have to create 1000's of filters and I think this would hit the limit on Tabular Reporting. I've heard from Qlik each filter counts as a separate report.

Is there a way for external customers to access a Qlik Cloud application where we could then incorporate section access?

Yes indeed it'll be a lot of reports.

The easiest way to achive this is to create user in Qlik by email or in your IdP, and not allow them to access to Qlik.
