topic Switching License model from LEF to SLK in Management & Governance

HI,

We are changing the user active directory for the exisitng users. In the license management we need to change the user direcory for all allocated users. we did not find option to change the user directory without deallocating and allocating the user. Problem here is that if the user is active within the 7 days it goes to quarantine instead of releasing the license. This is posing as an issue as we have limited license and we cannot wait for quaranitine period to end for switching users

Qlik product team suggested to move from LEF to SLK to solve this issue.

I would like to know if moving from LEF to SLk will have any impact to existing product functionalities or any financial impact as we have a single centralized node.

Also would like to know how moving to SLK would solve the quarantine period issue.

Hello @AlaaF ,

If your SLK has the same license attributes as your LEF, no impact should happen.

SLK has no quarantine period, hence that is why that should have been suggested.

Cheers,
