Hello @khai ,

The "sessions" in License Monitor is different from Operations Monitor (and Sessions Monitor!) because License Monitor counts from a license utilization perspective, not from a unique user-session point of view. For example, if you opened three apps last hour, Operations Monitor would count three separate sessions whereas License Monitor may report one "session" given that only a single "license" was used to open those three apps.

Also keep in mind that even Sessions Monitor and Operations Monitor read differently from each other and perform different aggregations and display sessions as intended. The "session" counts also do not match between the License Monitor and the Session Monitoring Apps.

Please see the following links:
https://community.qlik.com/t5/New-to-Qlik-Sense/License-Monitor-and-Session-Monitor-Session-counts-do-not-match/td-p/1806271

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Knowledge-Base/Sessions-Monitor-and-Operations-Monitor-show-different-values-in/ta-p/1797658

Ultimately, these apps are designed differently and that is intentional.

Hope that helps!

In the "License Monitor" monitoring app -> "User Detail" sheet -> "User License Session Summary" table, there are 2 measures "Total Session Count" and "Apps". What exactly do they measure?

Is my understanding correct whereby:

"Total Session Count" - Count of each login session, because the web browser might close, then need to re-login again so counter increase by 1.

"Apps" - Counts the unique dashboards the staff have opened, regardless the times they open the same dashboard across multiple datetime.

Also, these count is not affected by the "monthsOfHistory" variable in the script. What is the time period that Qlik is extracted for the above counts?
