topic Sheet and Field Level Access Restrictions in Management & Governance

We have Qlik Sense for Windows and have a need to restrict either an entire sheet or, ideally, specific fields on that sheet such that only certain users can view.

We don't have user groups but, rather, user names. For the sake of the question:

We don't want to manage via a data load script as some posts mention. We would prefer to bake it into security rules somehow.

SCENARIO:

One Stream (called "Primary") with one app (called "Dashboard") with multiple Sheets ("Alpha", "Bravo", "Charlie").

We don't have user groups and need to restrict based upon user names.

Sally & Sue do need access to all the sheets.

Bill, Jane, and Roger should not have access to the "Bravo" sheet.

Ideally, we'd like to have Billy, Jane, & Roger have access to the "Bravo" sheet also but not have access to two fields ("Tango", "Delta")

Guidance, and help w/ security rule expressions if the most recent Qlik Sense functionality doesn't provide a more GUI-based way of managing access, for the best non-data load script method for solving the scenario would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

Hello @stig-og ,

Thanks for posting.

Having to do such for all users and apps with security rules could impact the performance of the environment.

Plus, having a quick look I am afraid might not be feasible.

Kindly review:
