Create Connection without (dir_userID)

Hi,

My app is connected to sharepoint and an OLE database. Both connections in self-service are named as:

Sharepoint (dir_myuserID)

OLEDB(dir_myuserID)

The last sentence (dir_myuserID) is set autmatically after saving the connection.

How can I avoid that string?

In staging environment this is not an issue.

This is causing problems when publishing to Production as the team responsible for this should adjust the script to a new connection name by replacing my user ID with theirs.

Hello,

As far as I know this behavior is not configurable.

You can however change the name of the data connection manually from the QMC -> Data Connection post creation.
