Hello everyone,

Our company recently moved from a user-based license to a capacity-based license. We previously used the Entitlement Analyzer app to monitor detailed usage (e.g., which users are active, how the system is being used, and which apps are accessed most).

After the licensing change, the app no longer runs and shows the following message:

“This tenant is on a capacity-based license, which the Entitlement Analyzer does not support as it analyzes user-based licenses. Dropping all tables and halting...”

Is there another official app/tool (or API-based approach) that provides the same type of usage analytics for capacity-based tenants (user activity + app usage/most used apps)?

Thanks in advance!

App Analyzer — here in the support articles you can find this and other applications available for Cloud / Capacity.

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Official-Support-Articles/The-Qlik-Sense-Monitoring-Applications-for-Cloud-and-On-Premise/ta-p/1822454

You also have the Qlik Automate template available; install the app and use it to keep those apps updated.

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Official-Support-Articles/Qlik-Cloud-Monitoring-Apps-Workflow-Guide/ta-p/2134140

- Regards, Matheus

Hello!

I’ve already read that article and I’m using the Qlik Cloud Reporting app as well, but it doesn’t provide user analytics (e.g., user logins/access, active users, or most-accessed apps). It mainly shows capacity/data consumption, which isn’t exactly what I’m looking for.

Is there any supported way to get the same kind of insights that Entitlement Analyzer used to provide (user/app usage details) in a capacity-based license tenant?

I believe we're not talking about the same application; the App Analyzer I mentioned above already provides this data.
Make sure you have the latest version

- Health
