Static (PDF) reporting from Qlik Sense

What are the possibilities of generating static-content reports from Qlik Sense? In QlikView there was internal Report functionality, combined with the QMC it was possible to define scheduled PDF output.

Is NPrinting a (the only?) solution for this?

Is it possible to connect, through some sort of API, to the data in Qlik Sense and use this in an external/other reporting tool?

Although a nice extension, simply and manually exporting a certain page as PDF does not facilitate in the (scheduled and extensive) reporting requirements I have under investigation.

So I asked this question in the Q&A panel during the "Visualize Your World Virtual Forum" event:

Will NPrinting, or any other scheduled static reporting, be available for Qlik Sense?

"NPrinting will be coming to Qlik Sense in a future release. In Qlik Sense 2.0 there is the possibility to manually print charts and sheets from Qlik Sense applications."
