Qliksense security question

I am starting to try and implement security for Qliksense post Qlikview training course.

I have created a User Access rule called CPD StockOut.

Is it possible to apply this User Access rule to the appropriate stream with my App (which i have called CPD) ?

Ie can i pick this up in the security rules against the Stream CPD ?

So User Access Rules for licensing and tokens are kept a bit separate than the rest of the rules engine I think. Your best best is to create the security rule on the stream you have created and use the same logic as the user access rule. For instance, if your User Access Rule is set for User in UserDirectory = "foo" then you would create a rule on the stream that is exactly the same.

Hi there - thanks for that .

Unfortunately i have now completely lost the rule i had in fact created correctly !

I followed step 2 of the guide , changed the text in the resource filter , then got the message something like that shown.

Now the rule has disappeared somewhere....

Can you tell me how to get it back?

**UPDATE**

I had somehow deleted the Security Rule i had created for the Stream.

A lesson learned !!!

I have now re- instated it successfully.

All part of the learning process !
