Hi guys,

I have a question: one of our client has an EE server in Germany, but colleagues want to use Named Licenses on a different site, in a different country. Is it possible for them also to lease licenses from Germany or do they have to buy their own licenses?

Hm. Are You sure it is a question about Qlik Sense?

I think possible to obtain a license lease from anywhere, the main thing that has been allocated to user name CAL and the user has access to connect to the server via a desktop "Open in server. For example using VPN

Yeah, you are right, I've posted it to the wrong place (Qlik Sense), however it is still an interesting question. If you are able to use CALs allocated to a server that is in another country, that means a different approach is needed when dealing with customers who have - through associate companies - Qlik servers and licenses.

If you can allocate named licenses for the user in another country - I do not see any problems.
