Hi Experts!

I would like to know what are the steps i have to follow to connect to the hub from an external web, for example my house or any other external side.

on the computer where you have installed Qlik Sense, that computer should have a public IP. Once you have that then you can access is by:https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/hub/

depending on if you are using http or https the above address will change.

if you would like to use https then you will need to buy a certificate and install it otherwise you will get certificate error but Hub will still function properly.

the first step is to make your computer internet facing(having a public IP).

I have meet the same question now. I have a public IP,but have not a certificate,if i don't want use https or http,what should i do ?

if you don't have a certificate then that's okay as long as you are not expose. You can always use Http only.

if you have public IP then you can use that IP address to access your hub.

for example if your IP address is 69.35.102.25 you can access your hub using the following link:

http://69.35.102.25/hub

as long as your are not mapping your internal ports the above link should work fine.

thanks for your answer ! now,I tell you my situation.

this is my sense hub port picture:

my public IP resolution domain name is hub.ecota.com.cn. When i access my hub with the domain name,it would jump to validation port.

but it can not access the Authentication port. I want to know how to skip the validation jump.

Hi , without doing any setting to external access i have to do setting on server side so link can be accessible from any client computer instead of showing the error yout connection is not secured.
