Hello I'm really a newbie wiìth Sense server and having issues with ad users authentication.

Sense server 2.1.1 is installed on a virtual machine not joined to active directory but it is on the same lan segment.

I was able to create UDC to active directory and sync is ok, indeed all AD users with their properties are visible from QMC.

I created some local users too on the sense server to test access to the hub.

I then assigned tokens both to AD users and local users but the strange behavior I am having is that I can login to the hub using local server users but cannot using AD users. The user receives a white empty page after providing AD credentials.

Is there a way to test or tracing AD authentication?

Thank you

Nicola

There is no issue Qlik Sense server because the server use Windows Auth.

You could not use a domain user until the server is not added to the domain.

when you use UDC you can get list for domain user.

No it is not. You can create your own authentication module. and use the data obtained through connector
