unable to open Qlik Sense QMC after installed SQL Server

Hi guys,

I have installed SQL Server on a Qlik Sense Server. then, it seems to be unable to OPEN up the QMC anymore.

How can i resolve this, if i have to keep the sql server on Qlik Sense Server. ?

Hi Jim,

I also faced same problem while working on Qlik sense QMC.

First of all check that all services of Sense ( Qlik sense Engine, Proxy, Repository and scheduler ) are running properly or not .. !

and it is possible to run both the server simultaneously. Only check services of Qlik sense from Windows services console.

There maybe a port conflict between SQL and QS, just check the SQL Listener ports, I don't recall them off top of my head, i think 1433 sounds like a QS port too if I recall correctly.

Get into SQL and ...

ps... stop the SQL services and then see if QMC starts, that may be all the proof you need.
