Remove Create New App button in Sense

Created a new Security rule to control whom can create applications in Qlik Sense Server that works.

However, the Create New App button is still available and functional, it simply does nothing when the user clicks Create. We anticipate this will cause calls about the Qlik not working.

Any way to remove this button or maybe access to My Work stream?

You need to change more then one security rules to deny the new creation app. Which one you modified?

I disabled the default CreateApp rule and created a new one that has conditional access based on a custom property.

Hi Vincenzo,

which security rules do I have to change to disable the "New App" Button? I have the same issue than David after I have modified the CreateApp Rule the button is still shown.

Disabling the CreateApp security rule should work. If you have already done so then have a look at the audit and find out which rule is still granting the access.

I have the solution for the problem, if you work with custom properties the button is still shown in the frontend. If you work with userID or userRoles the button is not shown and it works.
