Hello everyone.

I try to do all of this manual QlikView documents in Qlik Sense ‒ Qlik Sense

Task in QlikView publisher complited success but i'm can't see any link in Qlik Sense Hub.

And there are some ambiguities in the instructions.

Qlik Sense has been configured to allow shared content. - What does it mean?
The server connection to the QlikView AccessPoint has been configured to use the machine name. - what is it?

It worked. But wondering how to delete the link which is created already in Qliksense.

I dont see that in content library too.

I have followed the videos, and others should pay attention the following lines in the QlikView Distributions settings file:

In the video the keynames are spelled differently.

The QlikView job now runs with success, and the logfile includes Unified hub messages.

However, the link does not appear in Qlik Sense. I suspect it might be the security rule, that is the issue, as I can't make it look exactly as in the video.

Could anyone post a screenshot of a working security rule?

Hello,

Finally I have managed to remove QlikView Documents from Unified hub. There is a table called SharedContents in the Repository Database and each link (NPrinting report or QlikView documents) has a flag Deleted. Change this Flag to True and restart the Repository Database service.

The question i have an could not find ; If the QVW link are now in some kind of "QlikView Document" Stream; is it possible to use the Qlik Sense security rules on this "Stream". And i think that the AD rights on the link or the QVW should also be in place right? you can't handle the security of the QVW in QMC from Sense?

Hi Amien,

the visibility of QlikView documents inside Qlik Sense unified hub you are controlling on QlikView Publisher site. Here you are defining with whom you want to share particular QlikView document.

This also means that you can publish a QV document into a specific QS stream right? All these QlikView Documents are in QlikView "Stream", which is probably not really a stream. If a user has rights based on Publisher, this stream will popup with 1 or more documents. That's right?

Does anyone implemented this ? All jobs are failing in Qlikview after the changes (3 lines) added to the QVDistributionService.exe.Config and the QV documents is not generated in Qlik sense Hub. Please suggest any solution. Thank you.
