Qlik Sense Cluster installation

Hi All,

I have to setup a Qlik Sense cluster environment and I am not aware how to start and distribute the services between central and rim node.

I have referred online Qlik Sense help available to understand the installation process.

Can anyone please help me out here

What version you userd? Qlik sense service user in both machine is identical?

Thanks for your response.

I am going to install Qlik Sense v3.0 and i have gone through few blogs which says we can either run all the services on both central or Rim node and can customize the services as well.

Would like to know on what aspects we should distribute the services.

Hi,

you should think about why are you setting up a cluster

- for loadbalancing and high availability you should install all services on both nodes.

- for better UX you should split backend (QMC/QSS/QES) and frontend (QPS/QES)

- if the nodes are differently configured (large/small) you could install all services on the large node and only frontend (QPS/QES) on the small

etc.
