Automatic Windows Update on Qlik Sense and NPrinting Servers

Hello,

I wanted to know if there would be potential issues in setting up Automatic Windows Update in Qlik Sense Enterprise Server and NPrinting Server.

I searched the forum and came across this thread , but it seems to apply for Qlik View.

QlikView Server - Issue with Certificate Trust and some Windows Updates

Would a similar scenario affect Qlik Sense & NPrinting Servers with future updates?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

I have not had an issues so far with Windows Updates. But you never know.

I personally would not do automatic updates. I don't have a great reason for that based on my experience.

I always try to error on the approach that could cause me the least problems.

You could turn on automatic updates on your Dev system but not on your Prod system. That way you can at least test the changes before you update Production.

Minor updates will not affect anything, For Production environments, its better to monitor what is in the update and apply it in Test and then in Production manually.
