Qlik Sense 3.2 - Cannot create a new ODBC connection (only Folder connection available)

Hi Guys,

QS 3.2

Windows 2012 R2

This is what I can see while trying to create a new connection.

Data Manager View - as you can see odbc/ole db are also missing

Y'day everything went smoothly, no changes applied.

As a result I can neither create a new ODBC connection (others as e.g OLE DB are also missing) nor use those I created yesterday.

Services restarted - no result.

Any idea? All I found is a thread which is similar but not same.

Were you able to access QMC? Check security rule that controls Data Connections

Thanks for posting. We are unable to see the images you added to your post. It looks like they are tied to a gmail account. You'll want to save your images to your computer, and then use the image button in the text editor to find the files on your computer and upload them to the post.

Hi Jerry,

that was also my guess.

the thing is no one edited settings in QMC - it was only me who was working on the app.

I just woke up in the morning and that's what I found.
