Require.js is not require.js

Qlik's require.js is not the normal require.js. I understand that Qlik added many features to its require.js file @ /resources/assets/external/requirejs/require.js but does anyone anyone know why they named it require.js? Once they modified it they created a new document. Maybe I don't know enough about javascript naming convention but isn't this just confusing? Shouldn't they name it qlikRequire.js or something. Sacred is the namespace!
