topic Qlik Sense Mashup - Applying an alternate state to a html select list in Integration, Extension & APIs

Hi everyone,

I built a mashup and, for various reasons, used two html select lists instead of Qlik Sense selection panels. The lists are connected to the same field and this was fine originally, but the requirement has now changed so that the lists have to work independently, i.e. selecting from list 1 should only update the selections applied to chart 1 and selecting from list 2 should only update the selections applied to chart 2.

I tested this using alternate states and regular Sense selection panels within the app and this works well, but I would like to now apply this to work with the html select lists in the mashup, but can't see a way of doing this by using the APIs. The only thing I found referred to using applyPatch to a visualization, but I'm not using a visualization, so is it possible? Has anyone done this before?

Any help would be gratefully received.

Thanks in advance.

Richard
