Execution of batch file through Qliksense Management Console

Hi,

Can we execute batch file through Qliksense Management console like we do in Qlikview management console.I don't want to go for Legacy mode as it has security concern related to data which I don't want to mess up.

In Qlikview QMC,there is Section for supporting external program through which we can execute batch file on task completion.

Is there any way through which we can do the same through Qliksense QMC as the option like that is not available in Qliksense QMC.

AFAIK, You can run external command through EXECUTE command but to work as per expectation we have to use modify in Settings.ini file. Else I don't think so it is possible.

Hi @rzenere_avvale ,

Thanks for sharing the article. I was trying to run the js query shared by Jesse_Paris which is to create folder C: drive called ‘externalTasksExample’, in this folder there is a createFile.js file which simply creates a new file in the same folder.

But during the execution I am getting an message "access is denied".

Do I need some read\write access?

My simple requirement is to run an Qlikview file after a reload completion of file in Qliksense on Qliksense Management console.
